Meet a Keypather: Aaron Edwards

Meet Aaron Edwards, SVP of Enrollment Partnerships. Aaron oversees partnership development relating to enrollment marketing and career preparation as well as our strategic alliances and overall external event planning and communications. He works with his teams to identify and support higher education institutions’ overall objectives and needs with strategies and offerings that ensure Keypath Education and our partners are mutually positioned for success. 
Is there a hobby you can’t live without?
As clichés go, it would have to be golf. If the temperature is above 40 degrees, it’s golf weather.
What excites you about working for Keypath Education?
So much of what we do and how we partner with schools has changed and will continue to do so. The idea that we must evolve to meet the needs of higher education is something I look forward to. Our company has taken great strides over the last several years to offer more comprehensive solutions. To fulfill those efforts, we have to constantly challenge ourselves to get better, which is very exciting, and ultimately rewarding to me.
Where do you see your specialty going in the next five years?
The continued diversification of what students expect out of their education, and how they achieve those goals, has and will continue to dictate this. It will be necessary to become more attuned to the career readiness/placement needs of our students and to ensure they are job-ready. In addition, when you think about how media consumption and expectations have evolved just over the last couple of years, it will be increasingly important to assiduously stay abreast of the media consumption landscape to ensure we are reaching current and prospective students in the manner they expect and prefer.
How can you use your skills to change the student experience for the better?
Keypath is investing a lot of resources to enhance the student experience. We are equipping students to better tell their stories, share and crowdsource content, and ultimately reach prospective students to cultivate new opportunities. In addition to that, we are developing exciting career-mapping technology solutions that will better equip students to focus on the skills and needs their employers seek.
What is your favorite personal achievement?
I have become particularly well-versed in satire, which takes years of practice from what I hear.
